“Zoom fatigue” was a foreign concept only a year ago but as the pandemic has progressed it’s become a common occurrence for many. Video calls aren’t the only part of computer time that can be draining, however, and the extensive time writers take to develop their work is often spent in programs like Final Draft, Writer Duet, Scrivener and the like. So when our work and creative life are spent online and our personal connections are limited to digital means, how do we take a break? How do we manage our energy, health and time in an increasingly digital world?
